Avicii is already well known as one of the kings of EDM but the Swedish DJ and production superstar is now trying out some new endeavours. After many fashion labels made their co-branding bids, Avicii finally settled on modelling for Ralph Lauren’s Denim & Supply’s Fall 2012 Campaign. Known for his plaid or checkered shirts and backwards ball cap or beanie, Avicii seems to be quite the fit for the new fall collection and is now the official face of Ralph Lauren. I am totally digging the campaign and the line and will for sure be making some purchases!
The Bell Centre is going to have a brand new neighbour! Say goodbye too centennial plaza and say hello to a brand new building. A new condo development has been unveiled by the Montreal Canadiens and its partners which is set to be built at the corner of rue de la Montagne and Avenue des Canadiens-de-Montreal, and fittingly named the Tour des Canadiens. The habs have said that “A total of 534 units will be available for purchase, including five penthouses that will occupy the top floors of the building. Thirty-three floors will be dedicated to other condos. Below the living space, a state-of-the-art sports bar will also welcome residents and visitors to the lobby.” Now I know what some of you are thinking.. what about those 100$ bricks I paid for that we’re layer down back in 2009? Well, apparently, “Fans who purchased bricks for the Centennial Plaza where the new condo development will be built need not worry. Brick by brick, the Plaza will be carefully removed during construction before being reintegrated into the project after completion.” I am extremely excited to see the turn out of this project!

Check out our brand new video segment as I sit down and chat with DJ and music producer, Richard Beynon. Enjoy as he give us an exclusive inside look at his production studio!
Hailing from the UK and raised in Vancouver, he moved to Montreal at the age 18 to study music performance at the prestigious McGill University to help him further pursue his career in music. Since then he has achieved so much while living in Montreal. While getting to DJ the hottest clubs in city, he put his producing skills to work to add to everything he was learning in school. A few years later, a dream come true! His records and music caught the eyes and ears of world famous DJ Paul Oakenfold and his record label. In early 2011, Beynon signed a contract with Perfecto Records which led to a New Years Eve performance in Las Vegas to bring on 2012. His skills impressed the city of Las Vegas so much that shortly after that, he was given residency at the Hard Rock Hotel. He has now joined Paul Oakenfold on a tour and has a new record EP coming out on June 25th via Beatport with songs called “Keep Me Alive” and “Chuckie Cheese.”
Enjoy the video and be sure to join Richard on his social networks to follow along for his new releases!

I am certainly not much of a movie buff, nor am I a reader. However, there are some books and movies you just have to read in life. “The Great Gatsby” by F. Scott Fitzgerald would be one of those! Of course the book was incredible, and I remember the story like it was just yesterday that finished the last page. But now, we get to relive a remake of the 1974 film rendition of the novel which starred Robert Redford and Mia Farrow. Enjoy the preview on the new “The Great Gatsby” film which will now star Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan, Tobey Maguire and more. Expect the film to hit theatres around Christmas time in 2012.
OUUUU WEEEE!! It’s a hottt one!! I dig this track! Similar vibe to FloRida’s Wild Ones but this one is far more electro! Straight off their newly released studio album titled “Dirty Bass” released on May 18th, 2012, Far East Movement teams up with Crystal Kay for this new one called “Where the Wild Things Are.” Expect many more great summer tracks from these guys, their new album is intense!
I have not stopped receiving compliments since the day I got my grey “Little America” Herschel bag back in October of 2011. The team behind Herschel Supply know’s whatsup! They just have it right! No more Jansport folks, this is what’s in! Their new Spring 2012 line includes some new, yet classic style bags with youthful and urban taste. They have added some new colours like the ones displayed below and are surely starting to appear on many backs around town! Not only bags though! For more on the new Herschel styles including wallets, totes and laptop sleeves check out: www.herschelsupply.com This is what’s in!

He may be 82, but he’s still got it! And more so than ever! Christopher Plummer, who grew up in Sennneville, attended Montreal High School and established his glorious acting career at an outdoor theatre on Mount Royal, has finally been rewarded. The proud Montrealer was awarded the Academy Award for best supporting actor for his agonizing role as an elderly man who embraces his homosexuality in the movie the “Beginners.” Let me say this, for a man his age, he looks fantastic and I am sure he still has a few more incredible performances left in him! Looking forward to seeing what is next from this genuine gentleman! Enjoy the recap of his speech below!
